Meet Michelle
Michelle Brown
BSc(Hons), DipSpT, pgCertEd
Hi! I'm Michelle Brown and I am a qualified personal trainer of 23 years and achieved a BSc(Hons) in Exercise Science since 2005 and a Diploma in Sports Therapy since 2010. My experience in the fitness industry has included working in both commercial, corporate and sports facilities progressing from fitness instructor to personal trainer and a premium health club chain as fitness manager responsible for fitness and group exercise provision. I moved into education from an early age, training others to become fitness professionals at a further education college and then private training companies, including for the past 15 years, my own training company, Fit4Training and more recently founded Telford Soft Tissue Therapy School.
After having my first child, Harry in August 2011, I personally became more interested in working with pregnant women and new Mums as I knew this population was massively under-served in the health and fitness industry. 'Mummy Movers' was born in February 2012, which successfully ran regular exercise classes in Telford, Shropshire specifically for new Mums who could being their babies along too.
This naturally evolved into working with more pregnant women, and Mums who were many months, even years postnatal and I felt exercise alone wasn't utilising all my skills and knowledge in soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation to its full potential to help women regain confidence as well as physical and mental well-being.

During 2018, I educated myself further, researched, and re-qualified in many specific areas of women's health and fitness in order to offer women more specialist services. My new skills, knowledge and offerings then evolved my business into it's re-launch and name change a few years ago to reflect my work with all women.
My passion for working with women continues to grow and I now work with a whole range of women from before pregnancy, through to the peri and post-menopausal period, and for some women their breast cancer journey supporting them through appropriate exercise, nutrition, lifestyle modifications and self-care in order to optimise core, pelvic floor and overall health and wellbeing.

I'm Mum to three children. Harry aged 12, Sophie aged 9 and Murphy aged 2.
