Birth Ready is an 8 hour pelvic health focused birth preparation course involving movement, exercise and education sessions for pregnant people who want to have less pain and pelvic floor symptoms in pregnancy, prepare mentally and physically for birth including how to minimise tearing plus have a smoother postpartum recovery.

What's involved in Birth Ready?

Birth Ready is an 8-hour unique pelvic health focused birth preparation course to prepare your body for labour, birth and postnatal healing with a specific focus on core and pelvic floor health.

Each class of the 9 classes are between 30 and 60 minutes in length and are themed differently to make your pregnancy, labour and delivery experience the best it can be. Whether you're getting ready to welcome your first baby or a seasoned Mum, you're in the middle of a beautiful and unique transition.

 

Birth Ready is for pregnant people who want to have less pain and pelvic floor symptoms during pregnancy, prepare mentally and physically for birth including how to minimise tearing plus have a smoother postpartum recovery.

 

You can book on this course at any point in your pregnancy but it is ideal from late second trimester onwards.

Practice restorative movements and exercises that will offset postural shifts and ease pregnancy related aches, pain, discomfort and dysfunction during late pregnancy including Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) and pelvic floor dysfunction.

 

Prepare the pelvic floor to support the growing weight of your baby.

Strengthen your core to support your growing bump, protect your abdominal wall and prepare for postnatal healing.

 

Feel confident that your body can move instinctively to ride the natural wave of labour.

 

Learn about what movements and positions can support optimal baby positioning during labour through pelvic inlet and outlet.

 

Prepare the pelvic floor for labour and birth and reduce the risk of tearing or need for instrumental delivery.

 

Learn breathing and unique core training techniques that will help you reconnect with your core and pelvic floor quicker post-delivery to aid recovery.
