Mummy & Me - RESTORE

Postnatal Recover & Restore

A course for new Mums to restore connection to the core and pelvic floor, and introduce movements and exercises to gently strengthen and manage typical "new Mum aches and pains" such as back, shoulder and elbow/wrist pain. Mums can bring their babies along to this class too and it's suitable from 4 weeks post-delivery* and/or if you are experiencing any prolonged issues such as pelvic floor dysfunction (leaking), feelings of heaviness in the pelvis or back pain which is impacting on your daily life.

* If you had a c-section, you will need to wait until your scar as fully healed externally. I'd also recommend a C-Section scar therapy treatment(s).

Work out in a relaxed, informal, baby-friendly and fun environment with other local Mums.

Classes

Tuesday 18th April for 4 weeks (10.20-11.00am) - Laura Deighton Dance Studios in Telford.

Thursday 27th April for 4 weeks (10.20-11.00am) - Randlay Community Centre in Telford.

Mummy & Me - RETRAIN

Postnatal Retrain & Restrengthen

A course for Mums who are ready to continue with their postnatal rehabilitation and begin to "retrain".

Whilst the class is still very functional and specific for new Mums, we will starting to step up intensity and impact and build in activities to progress fitness and strength. It will be assumed by booking on this class that you are NOT experiencing any prolonged issues such as pelvic floor dysfunction (leaking), feelings of heaviness in the pelvis or back pain which is impacting on your daily life. If you are, my recommendation would be to complete my RESTORE Mummy & Me class initially and/or consider booking a 121 assessment session.

Work out in a relaxed, informal, baby-friendly and fun environment with other local Mums.

Classes

Tuesday 18th April for 4 weeks (9.30-10.10am) - Laura Deighton Dance Studios in Telford.

Thursday 27th April for 4 weeks (9.30-10.15am) - Randlay Community Centre in Telford.
