A gentle Christmas check-in for movement, nourishment, and recovery
Christmas can be a busy, emotional, and physically demanding time, particularly for women navigating postnatal recovery, peri-menopause, or post-menopause.
The Christmas Care Challenge is not a workout programme, detox, or reset.
It’s a 14-day lifestyle check-in designed to help you stay connected to your body, energy, and wellbeing over the festive period without pressure, tracking, or guilt.
This challenge focuses on the shared foundations that support women at all life stages:
maintaining strength and movement habits
supporting pelvic health
protecting energy levels and recovery
supporting metabolic health
regulating stress and sleep
staying gently consistent during a disruptive time of year
What the challenge includes
From Monday 22nd December to Sunday 4th January, you’ll be guided to check in daily with simple, supportive habit anchors across movement and nourishment:
✔ Morning movement
A few minutes to gently wake up your body, reduce stiffness, and support circulation.
✔ Daily movement (NEAT)
Staying lightly active through walking, daily tasks, and natural movement — no step targets or pressure.
✔ Evening downshift
Short, calming movement or breathing to support pelvic health, nervous system regulation, and sleep.
✔ Gentle nourishment reminders
Simple daily prompts to support energy and recovery such as eating regularly, including protein, and nourishing your body through a busy period without restriction or compensation.
How it works
The challenge runs through my coaching app, where you’ll log when you’ve completed each habit.
There are no workouts, no tracking, and no strict rules around food.
This is about awareness and consistency, not perfection.
As a thank-you for showing up for yourself, anyone who completes 80% or more of the check-ins across the 14 days will receive a small treat at the end of the challenge.
Who this is for
This challenge is ideal if you:
are postnatal (recently or years down the line)
are peri- or post-menopausal
want to support your energy and recovery over Christmas
don’t want to “start again” in January
value a calm, evidence-based approach to women’s health
What this is not
❌ Not a workout plan
❌ Not a detox or cleanse
❌ Not about weight loss or restriction
❌ Not about “being good” over Christmas
It’s simply a way to stay on your own self-care radar and move into the New Year feeling supported, nourished, and steadier in your body.
