A pregnancy class with a difference!

Mother Fit is a workout classes dedicated to help you feel strong during your pregnancy, exercise confidently knowing you are positively impacting on your, and your babies health. The class will include pregnancy-safe strength work, mobility, stretch, breathing and relaxation.
It’s so common for women to be worried about exercise following a positive pregnancy test, especially after a previous miscarriage. However we don’t become fragile beings as soon as we become pregnant and participating in exercise in no way increases your risk of miscarriage. The natural type of exercise that many pregnant women seek out is pregnancy yoga. Whilst this is a fantastic option, we need more to support both a healthy pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
Getting our heart rate up, loading our bodies, staying strong, preparing for Motherhood is vital, not only for our maternal physical and emotional health, but also our babies health now and into the future. I’ve worked with pregnant women now for 15 years. Research and guidance on exercise during pregnancy has evolved A LOT since then. I’m an advocate for pelvic floor health, women’s hormone health and living pain free (that includes pelvic girdle pain)!
